2. Uploaded Image Processing (Browser Execution)

When you select or drag and drop images into RovmeBG Free:

• Your pictures are loaded into your local browser's working memory (RAM) via standard HTML5 File APIs.
• The AI segmentation model runs strictly on your device using WebAssembly (WASM) and WebGL graphics acceleration.
• Your image files and resulting transparent PNGs are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored on our servers.
• When you close or refresh your browser tab, or click "New Batch", temporary memory pointers (Object URLs) are released and revoked.

3. Third-Party Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) & Model Assets

To make the background removal functionality possible without requiring you to install native software, our web application fetches necessary code scripts and pre-trained neural network model weights from third-party content delivery networks (including jsDelivr and static model repositories).

When your browser requests these static model files:

• Your IP address and standard HTTP request headers (such as browser user-agent and referrer) may be logged by these third-party CDN providers in accordance with their standard operational logging and security practices.
• Crucially, your images are never sent in these CDN requests. CDN requests only download the computational code and model weights to your machine; they do not receive any user data from your device.

4. Information We Automatically Collect

Because RovmeBG Free runs as a static web application without a user login or custom backend, we do not maintain a user database, and we do not collect personal identities, names, email addresses, or phone numbers during standard tool operation.

Standard web hosting servers (such as GitHub Pages, Netlify, Cloudflare, or AWS S3) may automatically log basic access data, including:

• Browser type and version
• Operating system
• Referring website URL
• Date, time, and country of request
• IP address

5. Cookies and Local Browser Storage

RovmeBG Free does not use invasive tracking cookies to profile your behavior across external websites. Your browser may use standard HTTP caching or local storage mechanisms solely to cache the neural network model weights (~40MB) so that you do not need to re-download the model on every subsequent page load.

RovmeBG Free is a general utility tool and does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected or stored on our servers, we maintain strict compliance with child privacy protection regulations.

9. Data Retention

Because RovmeBG Free does not upload or retain your images or generated files on any remote server, we have zero retention of your media. Your files cease to exist in active memory the moment the browser tab is closed or your batch is cleared.
